What was the first song you ever heard by 1 (Futures)?
I think it was… The Boy Who Cried Wolf? And then I listened to the rest of that album and just thought it was awesome.

What is your favorite song of 4 (We Are The Ocean)?
I have no idea! They’re all so good. I’ll go for Trials and Tribulations or Before I Die.

What kind of impact has 1 (Futures) left on your life?
Not a massively big impact as with some other bands, but I love having a Summer band where you can just chill out in the sun and play all the songs.

What are your favorite lyrics of 5 (Stereophonics)?

“And all the friends lay down the flowers, sit on the banks and drink for hours, talk of the way they say him last, local boy in photograph, today.” The lyrics are based around the death of one of the local boys from the town, and how the community reacts because of how tight a small town is. It’s really well written.

How many times have you seen 4 (We Are The Ocean) live?
None so far :( But hopefully seeing them at Download 2012!

What is your favourite song by 2 (You Me At Six)?
I think it has to be Save It For the Bedroom, either that or Takes One To Know One.

Is there any song by 3 (Biffy Clyro) that makes you sad?
Machines in a way, just because it’s so… I don’t know, but it doesn’t make me sad everytime I listen to it! I tend to avoid songs that make me sad…

What is your favourite song by 1 (Futures)?
I think it’s Holiday, because it just reminds me of Summer and good times!

When did you first get into 2 (You Me At Six)?
In… 2008/9? They were my favourite band when I was growing up, and I just remember watching them of Kerrang! and thinking… wow, they’re really good!

How did you get into 3 (Biffy Clyro)?
I think it must have been through Sam. He just gave me a mix tape and I liked them, so I looked them up during their Puzzle years.

What is your favourite song by 5 (Stereophonics)?
Thousand Trees or Local Boy in Photograph. Anything from Word Gets Around just reminds me of my mother.

How many times have you seen 2 (You Me At Six) live?
I saw them last week! This time last week, I’d actually be listening to them! How weird!

What is a good memory concerning 5 (Stereophonics)?
Singing along in the car with my mother and brother on any good car trip! Along with the Darkness!

There aren’t any! Only rock!

1. Days Like These - New Riot

A really good dancing song :L Awesome song to see live and possibly one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to (They supported Reel Big Fish). And I have the signed EP from the gig! And a photo where the band signed me. Definitely a band to watch!

2. All My Friends are Insects - Weezer

Ahhh! I love this song! It’s so jolly! Connolly showed me this song because he knew how much I would love it :L Sadly, it’s the only one I like off Hurley and it’s not even a main track! More fond of the singles than albums.

3. The Bartender and the Thief - Stereophonics

Now this is a song from my childhood! I can remember listening to this song over and over in car rides with the family. They make me proud to be welsh and I wouldn’t want to be raised on anything else!

4. Therapy - All Time Low

What a lush song. It’s really soft and relaxing. However, it reminds me of Fallout 3, perhaps one of the most stressful games ever :L I went through my loving ATL phase around the same time I got Fallout 3 so that explains it. Reminds me of about a year and a bit ago :)

5. Dear God - Avenged Sevenfold

Again, a lovely song. The lyrics are so meaningful and I have considered getting them tattooed at one point. The chorus of course. “Dear God, the only thing I ask of you is to hold her when I’m not around; when I’m much too far away”. The video is also quite sad. I can’t wait to see them live at Download!!

6. Please Don’t Leave Me - P!NK

Hah! The girly side of my music comes out! I really do like this song. It’s sad, but has depth to it. It’s a song you can relate to and you can kinda feel how sad she feels when she sings. 

7. Ironic - Four Year Strong

A little cover of that pop song. I heard my sister singing the original song, before I realised I had the album with Four Year Strong’s version on it :L And it was quite close to together too. Funny that. It was one of those songs you listen to on repeat for days on end until you finally kill it and then listen to it months later and think, awwwh, i like this. PS. Four Year Strong are amazing live.

8. Her Name is Alice - Shinedown

A song I only recently discovered and I fell in love with. The singers voice is so powerful. I’ve always loved Shinedown ever since I heard Second Chance. This song is actually what inspired me to watch Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton). Bit of a let down when the song didn’t come up :(

9. B.Y.O.B - System of a Down

The band that got me into Rock! I absolutely love this song and It was my Polyphonic ringtone back in the day ;D Can’t wait to see System live at Download in less than 2 weeks :| I may go mental.

10. Pressure - Paramore

What a nice song to finish on. First heard this song on the Sims! The stereo would play it. Had no idea it was Paramore, or I’d be listening to it in the years to come. I can actually say its a song that I’ve always liked it since hearing it! :D
